Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA) Is Here

 

You have been asking for it and we are excited to announce that Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA) is here! Live out of the area? Unable to make it to a branch? No problem! Take a picture of your checks using your smartphone and we will take care of the rest! Best of all, for a limited time it's free!

To get started:

  • If you haven't already, download our Bayport Bank smartphone app via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Next time you log into Mobile Banking via the Bayport Bank app, you will be prompted to agree to our Mobile Banking Agreement which includes revised RDA terms and conditions.
  • On the Main Menu, select “Deposits”.
  • From the “Deposit” screen, click on “Deposit a Check”.
  • Endorse the check with your signature per the terms of your original account agreement.
  • When endorsing checks, you are asked to write "For RDA Deposit Only" and note your account number on the back of the check.
  • Once you have endorsed the check, you will need to take two pictures of the check—front and back.
  • Enter the check amount and select the appropriate account.
  • Confirm the deposit by clicking on “Deposit” in the lower right corner of the screen.

Other helpful hints:

  • You are allowed to deposit up to 5 checks per day (10 checks per month). Total deposits cannot exceed $1,000 per day or $3,000 per month.
  • At this time, RDA is only available to non-business checking account holders.
  • Upon successful completion of each deposit, an email confirmation will be sent to you.
  • Our staff will contact you in the event the deposit is not properly accepted.
  • Please note, RDA deposits will not post to your account until the end of our business day (currently 3pm Monday-Thursday; 2:30pm on Friday).
  • Deposits made after our business day cut off (currently 3pm Monday-Thursday; 2:30 on Friday) will be posted on the next business day.

Mobile How-To

  • Log onto the internet banking and click on the Mobile Banking ad and enroll in Mobile Banking.
  • You will then receive a text message with the website to go to.
  • Follow the link to log into Mobile Banking
  • Log in to Mobile Banking
  • Choose one of the options below from the Main Menu.

Viewing Alerts

Select Alerts from the Main Menu. NOTE: The Alerts option only displays if you have Alerts to view.

Viewing Transactions

  • Select My Accounts from the Main Menu.
  • From the list of accounts select which account you want to view. A summary screen with your Account Balance displays.
  • Select Transactions from the summary screen. Transactions from the last 15 days display in groups of 4 transactions per page. Select the date for transaction details. Select Back to return to the list of transactions.
  • From the transaction list select Accounts to return to the list of accounts or Main Menu to return to the main menu.

Transferring Funds

  • Select Transfers from the Main Menu.
  • Choose the account to transfer funds from.
  • Choose the account to transfer funds to.
  • Enter amounts in the dollars and cents fields and select Submit.
  • An indicator that the transaction is sending displays.
  • A confirmation message and number display after the transfer is complete.
  • An SMS Text Message will be sent to confirm the transfer. *You can only set up one-time immediate transfers via mobile banking.

Paying Bills

  • Select Pay Bills from the Main Menu
  • Select the Payee.
  • Select the pay-from account and continue to the next screen.
  • Enter amounts in the dollars and cents fields and select Submit.
  • An indicator that the bill payment is sending displays.
  • A confirmation message and number display after the bill payment is complete.
  • An SMS Text Message will be sent to confirm the payment. *You can only set up one-time immediate bill payments via mobile banking. *You cannot set up a new payee via mobile banking.
